International Office to be closed for one day

Harvard's International Office, at 864 Holyoke Center, will be closed for the day on Friday, April 9, because of an annual office retreat.

Prize competition in Jewish writing seeks entrants

The Norman Podhoretz Prize in Jewish Studies ($2,000) will be awarded to the Harvard College student with the best essay, feature article, or short story on a Jewish theme. The work should be no more than 25 pages long. Submit three copies to: Harvard University, Center for Jewish Studies, 6 Divinity Ave., Cambridge, MA 02138. The deadline is April 19. Musicians sought for production by Longwood Players

The Longwood Players, a new musical theater group in the Longwood Medical Area campus, is seeking musicians to play in the rock band of Hair, the 1960s tribal love-rock musical. The production is to be performed on April 30 and May 1 at the Massachusetts College of Art. The Players are looking for guitarists, bassists, electric pianists, trumpet and trombone players, as well as flute, piccolo, clarinet, and percussion players.
