Program to Protect Laptop Computers Begins

The Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) is launching a program to protect laptop computers. For a $10 registration fee, the HUPD will seal a security plate to the case of the laptop identifying the owner. The program is being offered to students, faculty, and staff. The S.T.O.P. International Registration System makes resale of stolen laptops virtually impossible. For more information, call Crime Prevention Services at 495-9225.
