Virtual Press Room Open for Harvard Conference on Internet & Society

An online "press room" providing the credential application and background information for media covering the second international Harvard Conference on the Internet & Society is now open at www.cybercon98.org/pressroom.

The May 26-29 Conference has attracted participants from 25 countries and features a diverse group of leaders from business, government, law, education, and nonprofit sectors who will discuss how the Internet can better serve all segments of society.

Tickets to the conference are still available. For information on registration, visit cybercon98.harvard.edu.

More than 85 speakers will attend, including the following national experts: Louis V. Gerstner Jr. (IBM), Scott G. McNealy (Sun), Stephen M. Case (America Online), Lawrence J. Ellison (Oracle), Steve Ballmer (Microsoft; via cybercast), Esther Dyson (Edventure), Tatia Williams (NTIA), Lisa Kate Osofsky (FBI), Anu Lamberg (Finland: Transport & Com.), and Julia Johnson (Florida Public Service Com.).
