Davis Center Awards Travel Grants

The recipients of the 1998 Goldman Undergraduate Summer Travel Grants of the Davis Center for Russian Studies have been named.

The students, their concentrations, and research topics are as follows:

Zoe Argento '99, history and science, has been awarded $2,000 for research on How Economic Crisis Affects Science.

Sarah Ellis, '99, history and science, has been awarded $2,000 for research on Russian Attitudes Towards Atheism, Christianity, and the Orthodox Church.

Alexis Moira Goodman '99, fine arts/history of art and architecture, has been awarded $844 for research on Eastern European Museums in Post-Soviet Transition.

Josh Robbins '99, government, has been awarded $1,000 for research on the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.

Elizabeth Charney Vladeck '99, religion and Russian studies, has been awarded $1,000 for research on the Russian Orthodox Church.
