Police Blotter

The following is a portion of the incidents reported to the HUPD for the week ending April 18. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.

April 12: Twenty dollars was stolen from a cash register at McKinlock Hall.

April 12: A man was mugged by three young men at the Quarry near the Medical School.

April 12: The tires of a bicycle were slashed while secured to a bike rack at Straus Hall.

April 13: The daycare was broken into at the Vanserg Building.

April 13: A bicycle was stolen from the vicinity of Gund Hall.

April 15: A bicycle was stolen from a bike rack at the Science Center.

April 16: A laptop computer was stolen from The Inn at Harvard.

April 16: Cash was stolen from a bag at Vanderbilt Hall.

April 16: A caller notified the HUPD that a suspicious person approached her asking for 85 cents. The person was arrested by the Cambridge Police.

April 16: A wallet was stolen from a guest at The Inn at Harvard.

April 17: A backpack was stolen from Byerly Hall.

Also reported were 2 harassing or obscene phone calls, 16 medical assists, and 6 instances of recovered property.
