  Queen of Jordan to Give Talk at Kennedy School

Queen Noor of Jordan will speak at the John F. Kennedy School of Government on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Institute for Social and Economic Policy in the Middle East. Queen Noor's address is open to the public and is free of charge. Live audio of the event will also be available from the AudioNet homepage (www.audionet.com) or the main Kennedy website (www.ksg.harvard.edu) .

For the past 17 years, Queen Noor has dedicated herself to promoting international exchange and understanding, lecturing at international conferences and at world affairs and academic institutions on Middle Eastern politics and current global issues.

In Jordan, Queen Noor initiates, directs and sponsors projects and activities which respond to specific national needs in the areas of mother and child health care, education women's development, environmental protection, culture and public architecture and planning.
